A small group of makers set their minds to Last May, record temperatures provoked a glacial lake outburst. Record flooding and monsoons swept away bridges and villages below the Shisper glacier. Higher up the mountains, a semi-nomadic people called the Wakhi were leading their yaks to summer pastures. This film profiles the scientists concerned with the changes in northern Pakistan’s climate change and the villagers dedicated to upholding traditional values.

This film shows the rich biodiversity of a Middle Atlas cedar forest in Morocco, alive and full of animals. Their survival is threatened by drought. The thousand-year-old cedars there were supposed to be magnificent, according to a 2010 tour guide, but all that was found were dead stumps. In the space of a decade, these trees that have stood for centuries have disappeared forever.
