Open Media Generation is a free, weekly program for Denver Metro youth. Members can access studios, take classes, and rent equipment to create video and audio media.

Talk to the Camera’s STEAM-based after-school classes and camps were created to spark imaginations and boost self-confidence through moviemaking & video creation.

Get Outdoors

Learn where to go biking, birding, boating, camping, fishing, geocaching, hiking, horseback riding, hunting, kayaking, rock climbing, skiing, swimming, and more!

Check out State Parks Backpacks from the Denver Public Library. The backpack includes a pass for up to 7 days, binoculars, guides, a suggested activities list, and the Leave No Trace outdoor ethics principles.

An opportunity for each and every 4th-grade student and their family to experience federal public lands and waters across the country in person throughout the school year.

Take a virtual safari through our local zoo, and stay informed, entertained, and engaged with videos, wildlife-themed activity ideas, and much more!

Citizen Science Projects

The SciStarter mission is to help people of all ages discover and get involved in real world science: citizen science.

The Zooniverse enables everyone to take part in real cutting edge research in many fields and creates opportunities for you to unlock answers and contribute to real discoveries.

Contribute to science!  Share your observations from the natural world with scientific data repositories and scientists around the globe.

Get Involved with CEFF

Filmmakers under age 19 can submit an environmental film to be shown during the CEFF 4 Classrooms screening.

Youth photographers can enter a photo in the international environmental photography contest and exhibition.

Assist the film committee in selecting films for the next festival as a junior judge.
