Bo Cheatham – Alpine Image Works

Keynote Summary: With decades in the field as a fine art landscape photographer, Bo Cheatham will be the keynote speaker at this year’s Colorado Environmental Film Festival Photography Exhibition.  Cheatham will be presenting on the environment, challenges of capturing images in the field, as well as overcoming adversity.

Growing up in an environmental and ecological family set the trajectory early in my life.  Our family culture of being a steward for the planet coupled with a camera has had synergistic results.  While behind the lens it is my intention to isolate, capture, and share Nature’s exquisite splendor.  This simplification is a means for extracting the extraordinary from the ordinary.  In doing this it allows me to produce not only thought-provoking images, but all the while enlightening the viewer of our beautiful yet delicate planet.

My Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry provided me a better understanding of our natural world. I am proud that my passion for creating and sharing images has brought my work to Los Angeles, California and New York, New York simultaneously. I consistently have my work shown in various galleries across the country.
